What a charity bib with Shawn Thornton Foundation involves

Funding ALS research and providing meaningful support to individuals and families living with ALS.

Your donors give straight to Shawn Thornton Foundation through your GivenGain page. The BAA registration fee ($390 in January) is separate and paid by you.

What comes with the bib

  • Guaranteed entry. No qualifying time and no lottery. Your place comes from Shawn Thornton Foundation’s official allocation.
  • Coaching from CharityTeams. Max McGillivray and Patrick McMahon coach every team: a 20-week training plan, fundraising guidance, and answers when you need them.
  • Group runs in Boston. Saturday runs from December out of the Lululemon store, plus the Superhero 17 in February and the Hop 21 in March.
  • A fundraising page that works. Your GivenGain page, milestone check-ins, and donor receipts handled for you.
  • A team singlet and a team that knows the course.
