Terms of Use

About the platform
CharityTeams connects runners with nonprofit partners for charity entries in endurance events. We provide the technology that lets runners apply, nonprofits review applications, and accepted runners complete onboarding and fundraising setup.
Applications and offers
Submitting an application does not guarantee a spot. Each nonprofit reviews its own applicants and decides who to offer a charity entry. An offer is valid for the window stated at the time it is issued.
Your commitments
The specific participation terms, including your fundraising commitment, the kickoff donation, any wire-transfer requirements for international entries, refund and cancellation terms, and an acknowledgment of the physical risks of participating in an endurance event, are presented to you during the application and onboarding process. You must review and agree to them before your participation is confirmed. Those agreed terms govern your participation.
Acceptable use
Use the platform only for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to access data belonging to other runners or nonprofits, disrupt the service, or submit false information.
Third-party services
Fundraising is handled through GivenGain, and race registration is completed through the event organizer. Those services have their own terms, which apply to your use of them.
